Choosing The Right Psychic
These Articles are designed to guide readees and clients alike for a better understanding on psychics and psychic readings. Many psychics and readers may also be able to benefit from them too.

Looking For A Psychic
Each psychic practices differently, as each has his or her own perspective and chosen method. There is no right or wrong method when it comes to psychic readings. Some psychics prefer to use tarot or astrological charts or other tools, while some psychics rely on their natural ability, intuition and spirit guides, to provide the answers to questions. There are several things that you should expect from psychics when seeking readings, especially given that you will most likely be paying them for their services. Developing a rapport equally applies to clients as well as experts. Following are the "key points" to look for when seeking a psychic.

  • Choosing the "right" psychic is an important factor in receiving readings. There's little point in hiring an expert that will not put you at ease or causes discomfort. It may take several attempts to find the psychic that provides you with information that you can relate to or feel comfortable with.
  • It may be a good idea to seek a second opinion from other psychics and look for the parallels. Each psychic will give the same advice but in a different way, since each has his or her perception and way of explaning things. No one's is exactly the same.
  • Sometimes simple, logical, blunt advice is all that's needed. Not always will a psychic need to "channel" into a situation to provide the answers you need. Psychics are not a deep well that overflows with information, nor do they always know all the answers. Be prepared for the naked truth when asking for a reading. The truth hurts, but untruths will hurt more in the long run.
  • Be wary of psychics who charge extortionate prices for "guaranteed spells". Spells, which are like affirmations, only work to a certain degree and are not always guaranteed. It's far better to pay for the services, advice or psychic insight you "need" and know will work for you. Go with your gut instinct when spending money on a spell; if you don't feel comfortable, don't do it!
  • Don't be afraid to ask a psychic about their qualifications and psychic abilities. Many psychics will be more than happy to share their experiences with you and many will be able to back their claims up with personal experiences. This will usually put you at ease and helps build a good client/psychic rapport.
  • Don't play "test the psychic" games. Many psychics will try to connect first before hiring, but not always will the connection be strong. This is not necessarily the fault of the psychic, as there are many contributory factors that may influence the connection or reading.
  • Approach the psychic with an open mind and don't expect miraculous cures for *all* ailments. A psychic cannot solve your problems for you, but can only give you the advice and insight, and the tools, for you to make that decision or those choices for yourself.
  • Respect the reader as the reader respects you. Showing disrespect of any kind, including "test the psychic" games or expecting immediate and specific answers, tends to bring a negative influence to the reading, disrupting the connection.
  • Be wary of any claims of 100% accuracy or a 100% success rate. *No one* can claim such "perfection", as not every time will there be a connection. Psychics are only human and can only be expected to do so much.
Psychic "Guidelines"
There are no "set rules" regarding psychic readings, as each psychic practices differently, but there are certain moralistic and ethical guidelines that should be used. This also ties in with the Psychic's Ethics & Redes section.

Individual psychics will have their own form of "morals and ethics", while some will have no scruples. Beware the scam artists because they will not have any compunctions about charging exorbitant prices for little or no services, by any means possible.

Don't worry about the "scare tactices" they use because fear is the greatest enemy and a greater prey.

Instead, go with what Intuition tells you; it never lies, only human interpretation of its message does (and we're all at fault with that).
